The EHHS PTO welcomes all parents! The Parents and Teachers involved in the PTO helps make our school better for every student. Participation in the PTO gives parents the opportunity to learn more about the school, its programs and the staff. It makes up for the lack of information that we get from our teenagers! It is said that students with involved parents – perform better in school, score better on standardized tests, have fewer behavioral problems, are less likely to use drugs and alcohol, and go to better colleges. SPREAD the WORD!
We strive to create an atmosphere where teachers, administrators, and support staff can do their best work - and so can our students. There's so much more that can be done and we need your help. We look forward to seeing all that can be and will be accomplished this school year when we come together, as a group and as a community to enhance and maximize the education of every student.
The PTO does raise money and all money raised is returned to the students & school in the form of scholarships, awards, support of student activities, and the staff "wish list." The money is raised by running the concession stand at home football, soccer & basketball games. The concession stand is always a fun time and a great way to get involved and meet people. Plus, we can always use the help even if it's just at half-time!
Additionally, the PTO supports Project Graduation, the annual all-night alcohol and drug-free post-graduation party. Project Graduation provides a safe place for seniors to enjoy being with each other one last time but it's a big effort and we need your help.
