Business Education is a broad, comprehensive discipline appealing to a wide spectrum of youth. The instructional program encompasses primarily: (1) vocational knowledge and skills needed for entry-level employment and advancement in a broad range of business careers (2) knowledge, attitudes and skills needed by all citizens in order to manage effectively their personal business needs and to understand the American business and economic system (3) the academic knowledge to pursue the study of Business at the post-secondary level. Business Education attracts students with varying objectives, native abilities, attitudes, socio-economic backgrounds, and ethnic heritages. The Business Education Department updates its curriculum and equipment on a continuous basis in order to ensure each student a successful School-to-Career transition.
A Tech Prep program in Accounting and Office and Administrative Careers is offered in this program.
