AP Psychology

The Advanced Placement Psychology course introduces students to the systematic and scientific study of the behavior and mental processes of human beings and other animals. Students are exposed to the psychological facts, principles, and phenomena associated with each of the major subfields within psychology. Students will explore various theories of psychology and will be expected to do substantial research into related topics. This is a two-semester course, which culminates with the AP test in May.

Students are able to post comments and discussions concerning the course on yhernandez.wikispaces.com.  Proper authorization is necessary.

U.S. History

 The course is a study of social, political, and economic development of the United States, focusing on events necessary to understand modern society.  The course begins with the causes of the Civil War and concludes with present day events.  All students will be required to complete a research project by the end of the year to better prepare students for college course requirements.
