Marketing I Marketing I is an extension of the Business Education program and prepares students for work in the areas of marketing, merchandising, retailing, sports marketing, international marketing, advertising, and marketing research. In addition, the course addresses Entrepreneurship principles and practices. Additional credit is given for entry level or career related work experience. This course is recommended for juniors and/or seniors interested in a career in Business. Students will learn basic marketing principles, marketing strategies, participate in DECA, and work in the school store. The DECA club exists to bridge the gap between theory and reality and encourages creativity, problem solving and common sense. In addition, the DECA club provides students with exposure to career opportunities in the all marketing related fields.
